Yesterday the band came 2nd in the Tameside Open Contest - losing out by one point to Point of Ayr Band who apparently played very well so congratulations to them.

 

It was another great result for the band, besides the fact we picked up £400 prize money, particularly as the 1st and 2nd sections had been combined.

 

The only downside is the sore heads one or two people are suffering with today!!
