There's not much news to report at the moment I'm afraid.

 

The Mayor's concert at Holy Trinity last week was a very succesful night where all the bands played really well and the audience had a very enjoyable night. In the process we helped raise some much needed funds for the Mayors' Charity - The Moorland Children's Home.

 

We then had a last minute march that came in on Sunday afternoon at St George's Church in Chadderton - again, another enjoyable job, especially as the rain held off for us!

 

We now have two engagements this weekend - St Andrew's Church, Dearnley, on Saturday night and Milnrow Cricket Club on Sunday night.

 

One other bit of news we have this week is that we are expecting another baby! Sue (principal cornet) is due to give birth on 31st October so chances are the updates on here may dry up for a while after that date!! Hopefully the baby won't be arriving on a broomstick!!!

The only other thing for this week is that if you see Callum knocking about, you may want to ask him why he has had to buy a new PC!!
