Several of our players received their A-Level results today - Rhiannon Ashworth, Laura Emsley, Laura Quigley, Liesel Whitehead, George Webster, Mark Whitehead and Chris Whitehead. I have the results of some of them as follows:

 

Rhiannon Ashworth got a B and two D's. She is waiting for the results of an interview to become a PCSO.

 

Laura Emsley got a B in Sociology, C in History, D in General Studies and E in Biology. Laura is currently waiting to see if she has been accepted into her first choice university (Lancaster, I think).

 

Laura Quigley got an A in Psychology, C in Maths, and  C in History. She has been accepted at her university (Manchester).

 

Liesel Whitehead got an A in Art, a C in Geography and a D in Psychology. Liesel has got in at Edge Hill to do her studies in Animation.

 

These are the only results I have heard so a massive Well Done to all these, and to the others if their results went well, from everyone connected with the band.

 

I'm sure there'll be a few celebrations tonight but you can all celebrate with the band at the Oompah night on Saturday (I'd buy you all a drink but I won't be there and the novelty will have worn off next time I see you!!!).
